Judy Sharp graduated Phi Beta Kappa from Smith College (USA), received her M.A. in Spanish Language and Literature from Middlebury College (USA), and completed a summer program in Psychology at Harvard University (USA). Ms. Sharp earned a Graduate Diploma in Child/Adolescent Psychology from the International Institute (Madrid).
She worked as a sixth grade teacher in the American School of Tangiers, and as a psychotherapist and remedial teacher in the New Educational Center (Madrid).
Judy Sharp founded the Fundación Centro de Estudios de Aprendizaje y Reeducación (FCEAR) in Madrid (Spain) in 1976. The Study Center Foundation School was opened in 1982.
As President of the Foundation, she is assisted by a Board of Advisors composed of eight outstanding leaders in the fields of Education, Business, and Medicine.
Her Royal Highness, Doña Pilar de Borbón, Duchess of Badajoz and sister of the King of Spain, is Honorary President.
Her Royal Highness, Doña Ana de Orleans, Duchess of Calabria, is Honorary Vice President.
